| Sponsors can gussy up race's Porta-potties Sat, 24 May 2008 01:07:57 ADT ANCHORAGE -- The Alaska Run for Women has Porta-potties available for sponsorship at this year's run, set for Saturday, June 14. Sponsorships are available for $50 and $100. Each potty will prominently display the name of the person or company sponsoring it. More than 4,300 women are expected to participate in the run. Since 1993, the Alaska Run for Women has raised more than $2.2 million, all going toward the fight against breast cancer. Rental of the 50-plus Porta-potties used on race day is one of the run's largest expenses. A $50 sponsor gets a potty that is ready to decorate.
